JCA’s are pleased to announce that it has thrown it’s support behind the Society of Construction Law’s Inaugural Australian Conference, to be held in Perth. JCA has formalised sponsorship of the Conference’s Gala Dinner, and looks forward to participating in the conference with it’s peers.

The Society of construction Law is the peak body representing legal professionals within the construction industry (ie members involved in Dispute Resolution, Arbitration, Litigation, Adjudication). Established in the UK in 1983, the society is worldwide, only recently establishing a chapter in Australia with delegates covering all capital cities.

With the inaugural conference being held in Perth next month, JCA was keen to support the event, and help showcase Perth’s local expertise to the national delgates in attendance.

JCA, Western Australia’s preeminant Project Planning and Forensic planning experts, has members of the Society in it’s ranks who will be also be represented throughout the conference.

JCA, with 30 years of project planning experience, have provided expert forensic planning (delay and disruption analysis) for numerous projects, including acting as experts in Arbitration/Litigation.

30 years is a long time to be in business, by any measure.

JCA are proud to have been delivering professional project planning and scheduling services to the construction and engineering sector for the last 30 year period.

In 1980 when our founder (Mr James “Father-time” Clark) started this little concern, he thought he’d only try out this new computerised construction programming for a year or two, as he wasn’t sure that the industry would be ready for it. How wrong he was !

Not only did the industry wake up to the importance of project planning, the technology and legal importance of project planning have escalated rapidly over that time, meaning that proper professional project planning for the Construction & Engineering sector is here to stay.
